through all the ordeals of the DLC, we just save the weeping Dusk and return to Elizabeth to get told our deeds were important but meaningless? Don't get me wrong - I liked the shorter length (though the immediate proximities were sometimes unconvincing), and the boss fights and atmosphere were good, but unless I missed something, that's a pretty shallow, anticlimactic, and unsatisfactory ending.
